With more than three decades of experience in mortgage banking and a longstanding connection to real estate, Jeff Bacigalupo brings a rare combination of financial expertise, market knowledge, and relationship-driven service to the Michelle Thomas Team at Premier Sotheby’s International Realty.

Originally from New York, Jeff grew up on Long Island in a family deeply rooted in hospitality. His father owned and operated a local establishment for 67 years, giving Jeff an early appreciation for hard work, entrepreneurship, and the importance of building lasting relationships. After earning his college degree in Hotel and Restaurant Hospitality Management, Jeff began his career in hospitality before being recruited into mortgage banking—a move that would shape the next 31 years of his professional life.

As a successful mortgage banker, Jeff developed extensive knowledge of real estate financing and the many financial considerations that accompany the purchase or sale of a home. His ability to understand a transaction from both the real estate and lending perspectives provides valuable insight to clients, particularly when navigating complex or high-value purchases.

Jeff has been a licensed real estate professional since 2018. Today, he divides his time between Maryland and Fiddler’s Creek, giving him firsthand familiarity with the lifestyle and amenities that make Southwest Florida so desirable. As a member of the Michelle Thomas Team, he pairs his personal knowledge of the area with the resources, market intelligence, and global reach of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty.
Jeff and his wife, Julia, share a blended family of six children and a growing number of grandchildren, along with their two dogs, Abby and Baxter. Outside of real estate, Jeff enjoys kayaking on the Gulf, hiking, cycling, outdoor country concerts, and supporting charitable causes. His commitment to giving back has included completing three 100-mile cycling events for charity in a single year.
